New-build flat prices fall for the first time

Prices for new condominiums fell in July of this year. This is according to the Europace House Index. This index is based on transaction data and fell by 0.86 points compared to June. Ultimately, this development reflects the current sentiment barometer for residential investments.

The real estate agency Aengevelt conducts surveys twice a year to provide information about the latest developments on the residential property market. Initially, things looked quite good again after the coronavirus low in summer 2020. The Aengevelt Residential Investment Index (AWI) rose again during the winter months of 2021/2022 (74.1 points).
